I'm tempted to do that one too -- think I'd use .75" hexagons for it.Cathihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02531639422553980153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109422684544639406.post-10526630392685427912008-03-12T07:18:00.000-04:002008-03-12T07:18:00.000-04:00I've started the "Insanity" quilt.Lissa jane 'help...I've started the "Insanity" quilt.

Lissa jane 'helped' with mine too...

maybe we could get a support group up for those of us who 'do' hexagons........

...and I even LIKE those half inch size, bigger poiecing is starting to feel clumsy!Studio Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03906722421691620895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109422684544639406.post-40283585587494169102008-03-11T20:40:00.000-04:002008-03-11T20:40:00.000-04:00I need to get that patchwork and Quilting book, ap...I need to get that patchwork and Quilting book, apparently that quilt is amazing.Lynette Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09331043803183677104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109422684544639406.post-86267245632517668552008-03-09T21:30:00.000-04:002008-03-09T21:30:00.000-04:00I'm curious about how the Insanity Quilt is made, ...I'm curious about how the Insanity Quilt is made, especially the diamond-shaped designs. Is the background all hexagons too or are the hexagon designs appliqued onto a solid background? What is the length of one side of the hexagons? I was working on my Grandmother's Flower Garden using the plastic hexagons on the bus tour. By the time we got back on the bus from our 3rd stop 3 ladies around me had bought out Sweet Home's supply of plastic hexagons and another lady had shown us how she does hers, which was a bit different from the way I do mine. Now I'm curious to see other designs using hexagons.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17840530854927719581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-109422684544639406.post-27398023327158447642008-03-09T17:10:00.000-04:002008-03-09T17:10:00.000-04:00Glad I could help!that quilt is very aptly named.....Glad I could help!
that quilt is very aptly named.. if you aren't insane when you start, you'll definately be there when you are done!

take care!

LissaLissa Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06119914465709077744noreply@blogger.com
